Women’s Lightweight Rowing is a varsity team at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. The team competes at the highest level of American collegiate rowing as a member of the EAWRC Eastern Sprints league and the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA). The team has enjoyed a good deal of recent success, earning silver medals at the 2008 and 2006 IRA regattas and medaling at the past three Eastern Sprints regattas.
